1. General Requirements for Campers

Daily Essentials

A packed lunch
A refillable water bottle
Additional snacks
Warm outfit for ice skating: jacket/sweater, socks, gloves, etc.

Campers should arrive prepared for daily activities, including both musical and skating components.

Personal Belongings

All personal items (including clothing, instruments, and gear) should be clearly labeled with the camper’s full name.
The camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 14 business days before the start of camp will receive a full credit, applicable to future camp sessions or other Salit Conservatory programs.
Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance will receive a credit for the following year's camp or any other music lessons at Salit Conservatory. This credit must be used within one year.

Missed Days

There will be no refunds or credits for missed camp days. If a camper is absent due to illness, materials and learning resources may be provided for at-home learning upon request.

3. Health and Safety Measures

Medical Attention

Camp staff are trained in basic first aid and will provide necessary care for minor injuries.
For serious medical issues, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.
In emergencies, camp staff are authorized to seek medical treatment (see Section 9).

Illness Prevention

Campers displaying symptoms of illness will be sent home.
Parents/guardians should keep sick campers at home until symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.
The camp may implement additional health guidelines based on public health recommendations.

4. Damage and Liability

Campers and their parents/guardians assume responsibility for any damage caused to camp facilities, musical instruments, or equipment due to negligent or reckless behavior. Parents/guardians may be financially responsible for repair or replacement costs.

5. Media Release

By enrolling, parents/guardians grant permission for the camp to capture photos and videos of their child for promotional purposes. If a parent/guardian does not consent, they must submit a written request before camp starts.

6. Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policies

Daily Schedule

Drop-Off Time: 8:45 AM
Pick-Up Time: 3:30 PM

Parents/guardians must ensure their child is signed in and out daily.

Late Pick-Up Policy

Grace period until 4:00 PM.
After 4:00 PM, a late fee of $1 per minute applies.
Latest pick-up time: 4:30 PM. If no emergency contact is reached, appropriate authorities may be contacted.

7. Participation Risks

Camp activities include musical instruction, skating, and recreational activities. Parents/guardians acknowledge inherent risks and assume full responsibility for participation.

8. Release of Liability

By enrolling, parents/guardians waive any claims against Salit Conservatory of Music, its staff, and affiliates for injuries, damages, or losses unless caused by proven negligence.

9. Medical Treatment Authorization

In a medical emergency, camp staff are authorized to obtain necessary treatment, including hospital transport if required.
Camp staff cannot administer medication except in emergencies (e.g., EpiPen for allergic reactions).
Parents must disclose medical conditions, allergies, or accommodations on the registration form.

10. Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling, parents/guardians confirm that they:

Have read and agree to all terms and conditions.
Understand non-compliance may result in removal from the program without refund.
